Trieste Contemporanea

Trieste Contemporanea is a hub founded in Trieste by a specific Committee with the aim of promoting knowledge and supporting contemporary art, especially focusing on the Central and Eastern Europe area.

Thanks to several collaborations and European-level exchanges, the Venue organizes exhibitions, meetings, conferences and workshops mainly centered on visual art in the Central and Eastern Europe area, while promoting awards and competitions for young European artists.

Trieste Contemporanea also partners with academic institutions for internships and possesses a library of contemporary art, which supports the activities of the Venue.
