Sfera grande – Pesaro

The imposing Sfera is a bronze cast realized in 1998 by sculptor Arnaldo Pomodoro on the polyester model that arrived in Pesaro in 1971. The original work, made in 1967 for the Universal Exhibition in Montreal, is installed in Rome, in front of the main entrance of the Farnesina, headquarters of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The sculpture is resting on a fountain as the one in Rome.
