Palazzo Grassi is the first building in Venice that hosts Pinault Collection, inaugurated in 2006 after the restoration work carried out by Tadao Ando. The purpose here is to share the collection with the public. This collection includes more than three thousand works from the 20th and 21st century.
Pinault Collection – Palazzo Grassi proposes collective and monographic exhibitions, aiming to deepen the relationship between the artists and the Collection. The latter has indeed enriched its collection also through works purposely developed for its spaces.
Apart from organizing exhibitions in Venice, Pinault Collection offers an off-site exhibition programme, events in support of the artists as well as activities aiming to promote history of art.
