Parco di Pinocchio – Fondazione Nazionale Carlo Collodi, dedicated to the famous book by Carlo Collodi, was established in 1956.
The Fondazione Nazionale Carlo Collodi, through the character of Pinocchio, promotes culture among children living in Italy and abroad, and this makes Collodi a true city for kids.
The Parco di Pinocchio organizes exhibitions, shows, conferences, contests, and other cultural activities. It boasts a rich pathway of sculptures out in the open, among which a Monument to Pinocchio, by Emilio Greco, and the bronze sculptures by Pietro Consagra, representing the Adventures of Pinocchio, created after the competition for the expansion of the Park in 1963.
