MUSPAC – Museo sperimentale d’arte contemporanea

MUSPAC – Museo sperimentale d’arte contemporanea was founded in 1993 and located inside the former monastery of S. Maria dei Raccomandati.
This Museum owns a permanent collection consisting of artworks created by international artists as well as Italian artists from Abruzzo. The association, over the years, has given more and more space to research and experimentation, exploiting the benefits of new technologies. Thanks to public and private aid, the MUSPAC was able to inaugurate a new seat in via Ficara, after the earthquake of April 6th, 2009 had completely condemned its historical headquarters damaging many of the artworks.
