Museo Renato Guttuso

Museo Renato Guttuso was founded in 1973 when the painter decided to donate some of his works to his hometown.
This Museum is housed in the historical Villa Cattolica and is home to paintings and drawings by Guttuso. It also holds some of the works belonging to his private collection of paintings, sculptures and drawings made by the greatest artists of the 20th century.
Museo Renato Guttuso has expanded its collection over the years, thanks to acquisitions and donations. Apart from hosting the permanent exhibition, the museum also offers a comprehensive annual programme of exhibitions and events.
