Lungomare was inaugurated in 2003, in Bolzano, as a place where design, architecture, city planning and art could meet, through political and social perspectives.
The activities of Lungomare are mainly focused on art and design projects, for the most part created by means of long residencies, combining interdisciplinarity, everyday life and a special attention on South Tyrolean territory and society.
