L’Ascensore

L’Ascensore is a showcase-room dedicated to contemporary art, created in 2015 in Palermo. It is a Project Room, an asymmetrical 8 sq m room accessible only from the outside and on display in a showcase 24 hours a day.
L’Ascensore was born from a desire to revolutionize the standard concept of Exhibition venue and to actively contribute to promote culture throughout the city, by giving the young local artists the possibility of displaying their works and involving other national and international contemporary artists.
