Intervento per Piazza Verdi

The work is part of the municipal architectural and artistic redevelopment project that transformed the entire complex of piazza Verdi into a pedestrian area. P.A.A.L.M.A. award was organized by La Marrana Arteambientale. The art installation consists of a succession of flat colored arches, interspersed with a series of white-black pillars that give rhythm to the space. The artist’s style is recognizable in the repetition of formal elements: geometric lines, mirrors, primary and complementary colors that create a visual and spatial pattern. At sunset, the installation is lit by the colored lights set at the base of the arches. The monumental yet performative work interacts with the other elements of the square framing them in an interplay of perspectives.
