Fondazione Modena Arti Visive – Palazzina dei Giardini

Fondazione Modena Arti Visive is a centre of cultural production and vocational education training aimed at disseminating contemporary art and visual culture. Managing many locations and taking the heritage of the three institutes which converged into it – Galleria Civica di Modena, Fondazione Fotografia di Modena, Museo della Figurina – Fondazione Modena Arti Visive presents itself as a cultural district that proposes and organizes exhibitions, advanced training courses, workshops, performances and conferences.

Apart from being located in the Palazzo Santa Margherita, Fondazione Modena Arti Visive also uses the premises of the Palazzina dei Giardini, a former hunting lodge inside the Giardini Ducali di Modena. Renovated in the seventies, the Palazzina has undergone another and more recent restoration work which has led to a further improvement of the quality of the spaces, eventually converting the place to an Exhibition venue offering both national and international exhibitions.
