Fiumara d’Arte – Castel di Lucio

Fiumara d’Arte sculpture park by Antonio Presti ideally traces the course of the river with the aim of enhancing the territory through the presence of contemporary art. Monumento per un poeta morto, also known as Finestra sul mare, dedicated by Tano Festa to his late brother, artist Francesco Lo Savio, represents an integral element of the landscape for the community. An enormous blue window on the town’s beach opens onto the horizon framing the sea, while an intersecting black monolith suggests a trajectory for the eye and represents the tension between finite and infinite.
