The municipal administration of the industrial town of Terni, has conducted a campaign of acquisition of sculptures by contemporary artists for the city center since 1980, with the aim to requalify the territory. The city is interpreted as an open-air museum where trajectories are characterized by the presence of the most recent artistic research. The collection includes local artists, and renowned masters such as Arnaldo Pomodoro, Giulio Turcato, Carlo Lorenzetti, Eliseo Mattiacci, Beverly Pepper, Agapito Miniucchi, Aurelio De Felice, Bruno Ceccobelli, Federico Brook, Attilio Pierelli, Umberto Mastroianni, Vincenzo Gaetaniello, Giuseppe Maraniello. The city of Terni is among the first to publish a catalogue of the public collection. Only a significant selection is proposed here.
