Il Luogo

Casa Museo Mario Praz, acquired by Italy in 1986, is a cultural point of reference and a testimony of the history of collecting and of the art trends in the 19th century, thanks to the collection of neoclassical and Biedermeier art objects that furnish the house of the anglicist and critic Mario Praz.
The Casa Museo has been related to the Polo Museale del Lazio since 2015. It has also launched a cycle of exhibitions of contemporary art, such as La casa della vita dedicated to design and organized in collaboration with the IED in Rome.
