Casa Masaccio – Centro per l’arte contemporanea is located inside the house once inhabited by the great Renaissance artist. Over the years, it has been converted from municipal gallery to contemporary art centre, thanks to an intense activity of enhancement, dissemination and promotion of knowledge on contemporary arts.
The Casa Masaccio displays a collection of works acquired from the various editions of the Premio Masaccio, from the donations received particularly in the 1980s and 1990s and, more recently, from the artists’ residencies promoted by the centre itself.
