Arte Sella was established in 1986 with the first installations in the garden of the Villa Strobele, in Val di Sella. In 1996, the exhibition path of ArteNatura was created: an itinerary that winds along the woods, and to which, in 1998, the exhibition area of Malga Costa was added.
Arte Sella hosts the works of important international artists, made of natural materials. Some examples of these works, left to change on their own over time, are the Cattedrale Vegetale by Giuliano Mauri and La Trincea della Pace by Michelangelo Pistoletto.
Arte Sella collaborates with national and international bodies, such as Grandi Giardini Italiani and ELAN – European Land Art Network.
