The Associazione Arte Pollino was founded in 2008 with the aim of favouring the cultural development of the area surrouding the Parco del Pollino.
Arte Pollino takes part in the Sensi contemporanei programme, promoted by the Basilicata region, the MiSE, the MiBAC and the Fondazione La Biennale di Venezia.
The programme aims to promote contemporary art and the development of Southern Italy through the contribution of the most famous artists in the current artistic landscape of contemporary art, who create works of art dialoguing with the surrounding landscape.
Arte Pollino acts as a social link thanks to courses and workshops purposely hosted to get the public, children and kids in particular, closer to art in nature.
