Albero giardino

Albero giardino is part of Artecittà. 11 artists for the Passante Ferroviario, a project of commissions of site spefic art works curated by Rudi Fuchs and Cristina Mundici, developed in the frame of a vast urban redevelopment plan for the new avenue viale della Spina, that followed the covering of the tracks and the reorganization of the surrounding spaces. The work is located in the small park dedicated to the Fallen of Kefalonia and Corfu and consists of a walkable green gallery, shaped as a three branched lying tree. The public, walking inside the tree as sap, and alluding to the vital circuit of the tree, is therefore part of the work and a metaphor for a renewed relationship with the city.
