The Venue
SpazioK.Kinkaleri is based in the historic center of Prato, in one of the spaces of the city’s post-industrial transformation. It is configured as an operational and planning place founded by a collective of three artists who work in the field of visual and performing arts. SpazioK.Kinkaleri hosts, in addition to the collective’s performative, choreographic, artistic productions and curatorship projects, a complex program of creative residencies, workshops and meetings. The residencies, conceived as a possibility to rethink artistic practice, are a space of creativity that responds to the needs of artists, especially young ones, to find a place for artistic production with a multidisciplinary vocation, in dialogue with local and international realities.
