The Venue
Spazio Murat was established in 1818 as a general food market, demolished in the middle of the 20th century, and then rebuilt during the 1990s. Today it is actively committed to enhance contemporary culture. Along with the Teatro Margherita and the Ex Mercato del Pesce, it will soon become the Polo delle Arti Contemporanee of Bari.
This Venue contains a huge hall, where exhibitions of contemporary art and design are held, which are dedicated to well-established and emerging artists. Furthermore, among the activities organized here, there are workshops, conferences and educational laboratories for children.
