The Venue
PAC – Padiglione d’Arte Contemporanea, designed by Ignazio Gardella, is one of the first examples of Italian exhibition venues dedicated to contemporary art. It began to operate in 1979 as a promoter of national and international artistic forms.
The PAC has hosted the most established and the less known artists, by organizing personal and collective exhibitions. It still promotes knowledge of contemporary art through educational activities, events, readings and conferences dedicated to the themes included in the exhibitions.
This Exhibition venue is a founding member of the AMACI – Associazione dei Musei d’Arte Contemporanea Italiani and constantly cooperates with the main public and private entities operating in the field of contemporary art in Italy and abroad.
