Ocean Space – Chiesa di San Lorenzo is located in the deconsecrated basilica of the same name, dating back to the 9th century. In recent decades, it has hosted contemporary art and music installations, until 2016, when TBA21 – Academy, with Ocean Space, returned the building to the public by reopening it. Ocean Space – Chiesa di San Lorenzo functions as a research center that organizes exhibitions and public programs to promote the knowledge and protection of the waters of the Oceans and the Venetian lagoon through contemporary visual arts.
