The Venue
Musia – Living (&) arts was established out of the desire of Ovidio Jacorossi to create a space where to promote contemporary art as a means of enhancement for creativeness, and which could be accessible to as many visitors as possible.
The Musia started to carry out its activities thanks to the Collezione Jacorossi, that included works from Symbolism and Divisionism of late 19th century to Transavantgarde and New Figurative movements.
This Exhibition venue dedicates the galleries 7 and 9 to exhibitions focused on the Collezione Jacorossi and on new contemporary artists. Inside the Spazio Pompeo a new site specific installation by Studio Azzurro has been placed: Teatro di Pompeo, Cesare, ultimo atto, a video-art work that connects the most recent technologies with the historical representation of the ancient Rome, in particular the event of Caesar’s murder.
