The Venue
Museo Diocesano Carlo Maria Martini in Milan, inaugurated in 2001, is housed in the cloisters of Sant’Eustorgio, inside an ancient Dominican convent, restored after the bombings of World War II.
The Museo Diocesano accommodates, protects and enhances the artistic treasure of the Diocese, which includes works dating back to the 4th century B.C.
Over the years, the Museum has received several donations including modern and contemporary art works, such as Collezione Sozzani and Collezione Magnaghi. It organizes ancient and contemporary art exhibitions and pays particular attention to the evolution of contemporary art.
