The Venue
Fondazione Bevilacqua La Masa was established in 1899 upon the bequest of Ca’ Pesaro made by Felicita Bevilacqua, widow of the general Giuseppe La Masa, with the promise of using it to favour young artists in particular, who are often denied to enter the great exhibitions.
Fondazione Bevilacqua La Masa now owns various exhibition venues: the main one is the two-floor Galleria di Piazza San Marco, especially dedicated to contemporary art festivals.
