The Venue
The Foundation was founded in 1995 on the initiative of the artist Arnaldo Pomodoro whose aim was to properly preserve his own artworks while providing correct information about the latter. He also wanted to promote research and confrontation on contemporary art themes and figures through exhibitions, educational activities and events.
Based on the will of its founder, the Foundation now serves as an actual inventive, experimental-like laboratory where the goal is to deeply involve artists, critics and the public.
The exhibition centre of Fondazione Arnaldo Pomodoro has been located in via Vigevano since 2013, in a space close to the Archive and to the artist’s studio.
