The Venue
Dryphoto arte contemporanea is located in Prato’s Macrolotto Zero and works to become an engine for regenerating degraded spaces and building community. It is a non-profit association founded in 1977, when a small group of artists began to question the role and activities of the language of photography. Since 2021, with the Urban Story project, in synergy with the Melampo Garden, an outdoor space that has been transformed into a garden open to all by a site-specific intervention by Andrea Abati, new artistic interventions have been realised, such as the installations by Valentina Lapolla, Robert Pettena, and the Ukrainian group R.E.P. Revolutionary Experimental, thus developing a visual research aimed at interpreting the present and imagining a possible future.
