The Venue
The work is located in front of Aligi Sassu‘s house, and is not far from Accademia di Brera where he studied since 1929. The sculpture, donated by the artist to the city of Milan, represents a rearing horse: recurring theme his work, and pretext for a research on form. Two of the five versions of this work are installed in the garden of the offices of Confcommercio in Milan and in Piazza della Repubblica in San Marino.
