The Venue
ArtLine Milano is a public art project by the City of Milan, a collection of outdoor artworks located within the public park of Citylife, in the western quadrant of Milan. It is a freely accessible space that hosts nineteen permanent works of art, some of which were selected through a competition for young artists, while others were created by well-known international artists. The result is an open-air contemporary art gallery that follows the urban development of the surrounding neighborhood. The artworks were conceived specifically for this location, with a direct reference to the local community and in dialogue with the green spaces and the already existing architecture.
