Why become a Contemporary art venue
This project is a continuously updated mapping collecting all the public and private non-profit bodies, where contemporary art is displayed, enhanced and promoted.
The platform stands as a tool to identify and learn about these Venues, allowing to build a personal path towards research and knowledge.
The Venues are identified through a form, subsequently validated by the Scientific Committee to be included in the platform.
You can become a Contemporary Art Venue if you fulfil the following requirements
- you have a physical space
- you display and/or promote contemporary art
- you are regularly open to the public
- you are a not-for-profit entity
How to become a Contemporary art venue
Fill out the form with the info and once your request is completed you will receive a confirmation email. (*)
The Scientific Committee will then verify the data you provided, assessing whether your profile satisfies all the requirements needed to be included on the platform.
Your subscription shall be valid provided other conditions do not arise that change the initial data acquired as well as the selection criteria.

The timing for updating the platform is not fixed and depends on the broader activities of this Office. The communication regarding the outcome of the application is represented solely by the publication of the dedicated profile in case the proposal is accepted.
Based on the acquired information, the editorial team conducts its evaluations independently and in accordance with the scientific guidelines of the platform: a positive outcome results in inclusion in the relevant category.

Upload images of good technical quality (compressed no lower than 75% quality, with a minimum resolution of 1080px on the shortest side) and rename them with a consistent label about the Contemporary art venue. Well-filled metadata is also welcome. Choose images that are truly significant for evaluation and well-executed for the description of the Place.
