The Pinacoteca Agnelli is located on the roof of the historic Lingotto complex, the former FIAT factory. It is housed in the “Scrigno,” a suspended structure designed by Renzo Piano that overlooks the old test track. The museum was established to display the private collection of Giovanni and Marella Agnelli. The collection, which includes masterpieces from the eighteenth to the twentieth century, shows a strong inclination toward contemporary art, fostering dialogues between historical works and current artistic practices. Since 2022, the Pinacoteca has also become a space dedicated to the production of temporary exhibitions and site-specific projects commissioned from Italian and international artists. A central role is played by the Pista 500, an iconic circuit also devoted to contemporary art installations.
