The Venue
The Civico Museo Parisi Valle, located near Lake Maggiore, is housed in a “bridge” building, a modern structure designed by Maurizio Sacripanti. The rooms host a collection of works by the sculptor Giuseppe Parisi (1915-2009), a native of the area, as well as a core of works he gathered starting from the post-World War II period. The collection includes prominent pieces by Giorgio De Chirico and Pablo Picasso, among others. Additionally, the museum periodically hosts exhibitions of modern and contemporary art.
