The Venue
Momart Gallery, located in the historical centre of the Sassi of Matera, within a recently restored cave-space, aims to redevelop the historical site and create a connection with different environments by establishing extensive artistic synergies. . Momart is a creative space aimed at the exchange, research, experimentation and dissemination of contemporary visual arts. It therefore works to valorise and promote emerging Italian and international artists, to reactivate the context of reference, creating events, educational workshops and artist residencies.
