The Venue

La Serpara. Giardino di Sculture di Paul Wiedmer is located in Tuscia, north of Viterbo, and covers about four hectares. Open to the public and in continuous transformation since 1997, it is the sculpture garden of Swiss artist Paul Wiedmer, who wanted to recreate a microcosm in which he combines his passion for botany with that for contemporary art, understood as a form of creativity that respects and integrates with the territory. La Serpara is part of the rich tradition of garden art that characterises Umbria, Lazio and Tuscany to which the Sacred Wood of Bomarzo belongs. Every year, the park is enriched with new artistic interventions and currently hosts more than thirty artists from the international contemporary scene and more than eighty sculptures and installations, a varied collection made of different techniques and materials, in which art and nature dialogue in perfect balance.
