The Venue
Park Poggio Valicaia is located in the south-west hills of Florence, in a large private agricultural estate donated to the municipality of Scandicci and transformed into a public park. Born as a place for excursions, since 2003 it has become a park-museum, thanks to environmental installations by contemporary artists. The project aims to use forms of art and landscape architecture to enhance its heritage, giving it a contemporary cultural dimension. The large park is also home to various animal species and offers opportunities for numerous activities including glamping in suspended tents, theme trails and children’s activities.
