The Venue
Centrale Fies is located in a hydroelectric power station of the early twentieth century, important evidence of industrial archeology and still partly active.
Centrale Fies, whose project started in 1999, is configured today as a research center for contemporary performance practices, dedicated to experimenting interdisciplinary activities in which contemporary art represents a research tool, as well as design, architecture and the reinterpretation of the landscape, intertwining political and social issues.
It is therefore a propulsive center in which new forms and processes of artistic and cultural communication are experimented through exhibitions, events, training courses, live performances and artistic residencies with international participants.
