The Venue
Fondazione Ermanno Casoli was founded in 2007 in Fabriano to celebrate Ermanno Casoli, the founder of Elica, a leading company in the production of cooker hoods. It aims at fostering the relation between art and industry, by promoting initiatives in which contemporary art turns into an educational and methodological tool capable of stimulating innovation processes.
This Foundation has pioneered the investigation on the link between art and industry. The artworks in the collection of Fondazione Ermanno Casoli are the result of E-straordinario, the program that, since 2018, has been offering workshops where international artists work to create an artwork along with a company’s employees, aided by a managerial trainer and a contemporary art curator.
The collection of the artworks produced has been included in the book Global Corporate Collection (2015) about the 100 world’s finest corporate art collections.
