The Venue
Vuoti di memoria was conceived and sponsored by the Municipio VII of Rome, realized in the space of Metro A station Porta Furba – Quadraro with the participation of the neighborhood. The project aimed at redeveloping a common space, a place of passage, through an art work. The wall painting features twenty-five eminent inhabitants of the neighborhood, painted in monumental dimensions in the symbolic gesture of sealing bottles that, filled with the history of each one, carry out an action of “preserving” the memory. The painting is conceived as a relational intervention, and will be completed over time by those who use the subway and by students of the schools whom the artist has been meeting since February 2018 in occasion of workshops.
