The Venue
Lanterna Termale is an intervention that transforms an abandoned building, formerly the guardhouse of the INPS Thermal Baths, into a luminous sculpture: a lantern that enlightens the landscape. The old rationalist building has been delimited by a thin plinth that gives the architecture a sculptural value while making it readable again. Original windows and doors have been replaced by plexiglass panels on which white feathers seem to float. The work is part of Arte sui Cammini, a project of Regione Lazio in support of new art productions that interact and become part of the natural and urban landscape of the region.
