The Venue
Ospizio Giovani Artisti is an Independent space created in 2013 in Rome. Initially born with the ironic intent of displaying works made by artists over 35 years of age (the “institutional” age limit for young Italian artists), this Venue does not possess this restraint anymore and, thus, organizes several collective exhibitions every year.
The works of this collection are gradually donated to Ospizio Giovani Artisti by the artists themselves, to organise thematic exhibitions from which a continuous reflection arises on the role of contemporary art in today’s society.
