The Venue
Officina Rancilio 1926 was founded in 2010 in Parabiago, in the very same area where the founder of the company, Roberto Rancilio, had opened his first mechanical workshop. The museum of coffee machines was established with the aim of preserving and enhancing the historical heritage and the photographic archive of the company.
The collection encompasses sixty iconic coffee machines produced by Rancilio between 1927 and 1980, as well as twenty machines produced in collaboration with Egro. The products on display bear witness to the evolution of Italian industrial tecniques and design over the years. Apart from the collection, the museum includes a rich historical archive of pictures and paper documents highlighting the history of the company and the evolution of the style of the products.
Officina Rancilio 1926 also houses exhibitions and conferences, proposes educational tours for schools and owns a thematic library.
