The Venue
MAW – Men Art Work – Laboratorio d’arte is an Independent space created in 2014 by a group of artists and cultural operators, with the aim of promoting and disseminating contemporary art languages, as well as supporting creative production. The name of this Independent space refers to the purpose of the venue: discussing both theoretical and practical aspects of contemporary languages.
The MAW organizes exhibitions, festivals and contests, also aimed to promote local talents.
This Independent space also proposes educational activities, such as courses, seminars and workshops curated by artists and art experts. It also organizes cultural and research activities: meetings and collaborations with schools and universities.
