The Venue
Galleria d’Arte moderna e contemporanea Villa Franceschi was founded in 2005, inside an early 20th-century Art-Nouveau Villa.
This Museum hosts the municipal art collection, consisting of works of contemporary art made mainly by artists active on the territory, and the Collezione Arcangeli, owned by the Region, which includes works of artists from the second Post-War period, such as Alberto Burri, Vincenzo Satta and Ennio Morlotti, with a particualr focus on the Padana area.
Furthermore, the Villa Franceschi proposes a rich programme of cultural activities, exhibitions and cycles of in-depth meetings on the contemporary world.
