The Venue
Istituto Balassi – Accademia d’Ungheria in Roma, founded in 1928 and housed in the 16th century Palazzo Falconieri di via Giulia, is dedicated to historical and theological research as well as to artistic promotion.
This Institution has hosted the major Hungarian scholars, writers, painters and sculptors, and regularly hosts artists and scholars through a series of scholarships. The Institution has also opened an art gallery in 1992, where it organizes annual exhibitions dedicated to the recipients of the scholarship of the Academy, and to Hungarian and Italian artists.
