The Venue

Palazzo delle Esposizioni was one of the first public buildings ever built in Rome, when the latter became the capital of Italy. Inaugurated in 1883, it still hosts exhibitions of various kinds. Its main focus is on the visual and scientific culture of the last century, in particular on photography.
Over the last few years, Palazzo delle Esposizioni has organized festivals aiming to investigate the aspects and the protagonists of art in the Sixties and the Seventies, keeping the original promise to account for the most recent trends in contemporary art: indeed in the halls of Palazzo delle Esposizioni the Quadriennale di Roma is hosted every four years.
