The Venue
CAM – Casoria Contemporary Art Museum is a centre for research, production and exhibition of contemporary art founded in 2005, with a particular focus on promoting knowledge and understanding of today’s creativity.
The CAM owns a rich collection of works ranging from painting to photography, and multimedia art. It also hosts an important section on Neapolitan art from the second Post-War period to today, as well as a section on contemporary African art.
The CAM organizes exhibitions which also involve works belonging to the collection, displayed in rotation, and offers spaces where the artists can directly manage their own exhibitions.
