The Venue
Civica Galleria d’Arte Contemporanea Filippo Scroppo is home to an important collection of about four hundred and fifty works by Italian and foreign artists from the second Post-War period to today.
The Civica Galleria was established in 1975, but its originating core dates back to 1959, when Filippo Scroppo selected a group of local artists for the Primo Autunno Pittorico di Torre Pellice, during which the artists were encouraged to donate the works created for the occasion to the city.
This Museum is now very active as far as exhibitions, meetings and educational activities are concerned.
