The Venue
Museo Giacomo Manzù, created in 1965, contains the collection of works donated in 1979 to the Italian State by the sculptor, following the wish of his wife, Inge Schnabel. This Museum mainly hosts creations from the maturity period of Manzù: bronze scupltures, engravings, jewels, drawings and draft scripts dated between 1950 and 1970.
The Museo Manzù is housed in a rationalist building, purposely built in 1967 to accommodate the collection. The works of art are positioned inside the building and out in the garden, where they complete the whole structure of the Museum.
