The Venue
In 2016, Fondazione Prada extended its research field also to photography and its formal features by opening the Osservatorio, an exhibition space specifically dedicated to photography, where collective and personal exhibitions of Italian and international artists are hosted.
Fondazione Prada, through the activities of the Osservatorio, poses the question of which cultural, artistical and social implications shall be found at the basis of modern photography and of the way the latter is perceived by the others. It also analyses the role of photography in digital communication, following the technical evolution of the medium.
